How do we develop teaching and learning environments that foster engagement, quality, and community?

AAU Learning Day is Aalborg University's annual event for educators and staff working with teaching and learning. The day offers talks, conversations, and celebration of pedagogical efforts – with a focus on developing teaching practices and reflecting together on what good teaching means in a PBL context.

The keynote in 2026 will focus on inclusive learning environments and diversity, exploring how universities can support all students’ participation, well-being, and learning. Throughout the rest of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to explore various perspectives on teaching and learning, share experiences, and gain new inspiration for their own practice.

The programme will also feature workshops, a presentation from the recipient of the “Teacher of the Year” award, and a celebration of the AAU Pedagogy Prize winner – along with opportunities to connect and network with colleagues across AAU.

AAU Learning Day is a chance to connect across faculties and disciplines, strengthen networks, and celebrate the many efforts that contribute to teaching quality at AAU.
